From September 2026

From the new school year, we will be introducing a more 'active' uniform, which will allow the children greater flexibility in what they wear. Please see below for details...

Tops

• Navy jumper, cardigan or fleece

• White polo shirt/ navy sport top 

Bottoms

• Grey trousers, shorts or skirts

• Navy Jogging Bottoms (no brands) or Navy PE style shorts

• Long black leggings (not see through and with a longer polo)

Other

• Light blue gingham dresses, skirts or playsuits

• Grey dresses

• Grey tights

• Black, white, grey socks (unbranded)

• Cycling shorts for modesty - not on their own please

Shoes

• Black school shoes 
• Or all black trainers (unbranded preferable)
• Or plain, coloured, unbranded trainers

No sandals or crocs please

Children need to be in trainers for PE days but if families choose to children can wear trainers everyday. 

Jewellery 

Jewellery should not be worn to school, with the exception of a wristwatch.  Children who have recently had their ears pierced may wear a small stud but this must be removed or covered for all PE and swimming lessons. Please ensure headbands are in the school colours and are discreet in style.

Hair

We request that for all children in school, regardless of gender, once their hair reaches their shoulders that it is tied back neatly with a simple hair tie away from their face. This is for health and safety and hygiene reasons. For example, being caught, pulled or catching nits. It also helps them to complete everyday school activities without their hair being a distraction. We fully understand that some children have sensory sensitivities regarding hair and our school SENCO is happy to discuss and assess this with any parents as needed on a pupil by pupil basis. Neat bows, clips and headbands are also allowed in school however if they become a distraction or are deemed a risk by school staff in terms of health and safety the pupil will be asked to remove them. We appreciate all parents support with this. 

Pre-loved Uniform

Our PTA, FORA, hold a selection of pre-loved uniforms. To find out what is currently available, please enquire via the school office. If you are concerned about being able to afford a school uniform for your child, please do contact us in confidence, and we will support you where we can.
